Welcome to HOPE Grief Counselling
Supporting you through grief and loss
At some point in our lives, most of us will experience a life event that has a profound effect on who we are. It may be the loss of a loved one, a relationship, a beloved pet, occupation, health or identity/role. How we process and cope with our experience will shape and influence life today and going forward. Grief and loss are often overwhelming, confusing, painful and debilitating. All aspects of who we are may be affected: physical, emotional, psychological and spiritual.
				      Where to begin?
Hope, what does it mean to you? It’s a simple word, but for those going through a difficult time, it can mean so much. It can mean the difference between hanging on and giving up. A word with no true definition, hope can mean anything you need it to (Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center). I can’t make you want to get out of bed, smile, laugh or give a damn about anything. What I can do is offer you a comfortable and confidential space to HOPE.
“There is a crack
 in everything,
that’s how the
light gets in.”
